Fuse, the only cable television network dedicated to music, has launched a $15 million dollar advertising campaign, “Music Is,” tapping into consumers personal and emotional connections with music and unveiling its new tag line, reminding them to “Get Your Music On” Fuse. The campaign, developed by The Brooklyn Brothers, features up-and-coming artists and directors, each illustrating their own personal connection to music using various mediums, including photography, animation and CGI, among others. Also joining our base of talented folk this month is illustrator and
animator Mia Nilsson. Originally from Sweden but now based in London,
Mia has established herself as 'one to watch' recently after scooping
first prize in the Levi's Live Unbuttoned competition. She's also been
exposing her skills with regular illustrations in the Guardian G2
section and for John Lancaster's column in Esquire (UK). Look out for
signature Mia Nilsson moving image pieces soon to be added in our
animation section.

Peskimo have contributed artwork to a portfolio of prints commissioned to mark the fifth anniversary of Bristol's HERE Gallery. The portfolio consists of fifteen original pieces by contemporary artists, all printed using the Japanese Print Gocco device (a toy screen-printing kit) and accompanies the exhibition Even Dwarves Started Small (3rd Oct - 1st Nov).
