The mother of all fashion trade shows has just opened its doors in Florence. Covering an awesome 59,000 square metres, PITTI UOMO is the place to be in Jan for over 22,000 menswear buyers seeking the latest collections from almost 1000 worldwide brands. Occupying a small corner of this floor space are the good people at Converse / Jack Purcell, who commissioned Sophie Henson to create a series of wall-framed artworks.

SEASONS GREETINGS!

Great to hear that so many of our 'Seasons Greetings' prints made it through the snow-laden streets of London and arrived safety with friends, clients and potential collaborators alike. This year, we enlisted the help of Synergy artist, and poster-maker extraordinaire, Sophie Henson - who created a suitably festive three-colour design featuring the names of all Synergy artists and art reps. 

After being beautifully screen printed on to a 250 gsm stock by the super-talented folk at The Tuck-shop London (part of Print Club London), the posters were then hand-delivered by Michael and Carl at Mailer Van Man. Thanks to all involved — turned out great!

So, 'Seasons Greetings' and all the best for the New Year from everyone at Synergy Art!

We love the Guardian Guide, even if it's more for the cover illustration they commission rather then the stack of events, interviews and reviews inside. And we love it even more now Sophie Henson has joined the other great image-makers who've illustrated the cover feature. It's all about the 'synth' in this issue! 

STATE OF PLAY - ISSUE 04

The latest issue (04) of State of Play Zine has just gone live with an alternative London theme and a substantial contribution from the Synergy camp. Leading with a signature Jamie Cullen creation on the cover, the turn pages also boast new artwork by Scott Chambers, Henry Obasi, Sophie Henson, Paddy Mills and Telegramme. No need to part with your hard earned cash for a peep, the mag is available via free download here.

SOPHIE HENSON - ILLUSIVE

Another fine example of creative publishing and illustration documentation from Gestalten with the release of Illusive part three. Following on from parts one and two, the latest in the series casts a keen eye on more up and coming and established image-makers from around the globe. Comfortably passing the criteria of world-class illustrator (Us, bias? Never!) is Synergy artist Sophie Henson.  

SOPHIE HENSON - CINEWORLD

Sophie Henson's work has been brought to life for the first time in a big screen ident for Cineworld. The beautifully realised animation was created by the guys over at GotGotNeed and is currently being shown before each movie at all seventy five CineWorld venues. Sorry, we only have stills of Sophie's artwork for now - the actual ident will be uploaded very soon!
